Well hello
there. It's been too long. My last flurry of posts told you the story of
what I did each week last semester, and I let them hang, having proved I was
too busy to write blog posts. But no
longer! The school semester is over, and
I have the mornings free for blogging and lesson planning and so on. (Let's be honest, "so on" =
sleeping.)
Anyway, there's lots
to catch up on, but it's all new to you!
So stay tuned, I'll do my best to make this more of a habit and less of
an occasion!!! I really appreciate you
all for your support, and I don't want to leave you hanging.
One last note, I haven't been completely idle! If you look the top of the sidebar on the left, you'll I've added a glossary page! I will put all relevant Korean terms there as they happen. It's got everything from my posts so far, check it out, learn a little Korean!

| Still here, still adventuring, don't worry! |
P.S. I've gotten some
requests to talk about tensions here as a result of the recent death of 김정일 (that is, Kim Jong Il).
All I can say is that I haven't seen any change at all, in my daily life
or the worries of those around me. It
could be slightly different in Seoul, which is closer to North Korea, but here
in Daejeon life goes on as normal. I
know the military is on higher alert just in case, but nothing has happened yet
and I'll be quick to tell you I'm okay if anything does. For now, I get all my news from the same
sources you probably do, so unless something happens directly around me, you
know as much as I do!
Our site coordinators, however, have a couple interesting stories on that subject, but they aren't ready for primetime. When they are, I believe they'll be posted under the list of letters here.
